Leviticus 18:21 – “And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I AM the LORD.”

For the rest of my life this side of heaven, I will never forget where I was when I read the news headlines on the morning of June 24, 2022. I had just arrived at work, and I was taking a short break after opening the store and getting settled in for a long day. When I tapped my phone screen to wake it up, I saw multiple notifications from The Daily Wire, Epoch Times, Google and my local news app, Channel 8. All of them said the same thing: the supreme court of the United States (SCOTUS) had overturned Roe V Wade, effectively ending 49 years, 5 months and 2 days of Federally protected and sanctioned slaughter of the unborn. It was now up to individual states to decide whether or not abortion would be legal within each of their borders. For just a moment, I was stunned, not quite believing what I was reading. I – along with hundreds of thousands of other Christians in this nation – had been fervently praying and pleading with God ever since the news first leaked about six weeks earlier of the possibility of this decision.
It was too good to be true. “No way!” I murmured aloud, shocked that our nation’s highest court had just enacted a genuine spiritual and moral victory. In an age when we are so accustomed to seeing God’s name and all that He commands in His Holy Word profaned and blasphemed and outright challenged by our heathen and very ungodly government, as well as society in general, this kind of news is almost a fairy tale. Something that’s nice and lovely to pray for, and to hope for, but it’ll never really happen.
Except that, praise God, it did! Later that day, and in the weeks since, I have come to realize what this news truly is and represents for all of us believers who have been fighting and praying and marching and preaching against for almost 50 years: a genuine, Old Testament, demonstration-of-power-and-majesty-by-Almighty-God miracle! Amen, hallelujah! Praise be His Name!!!!!!!
I immediately shared the Daily Wire news story to my Facebook feed with a simple “Praise the Lord” comment, and then returned to work. I wanted to post more – a LOT more – but I have learned well the lesson that, in my new walk with Christ, the less I post on social media, the better. And when I do decide to post something – especially a commentary or my stance on a particular topic/issue/public or spiritual matter – I  often wait a day or two, mull it over, decide on my true motives for the post, and then go ahead with it if I still feel strongly enough about whatever it is that I’m commenting on, and I know that it’s not going to damage my testimony or hinder the cause of Christ and the gospel.
There are two issues right now in our society and in our churches that are causing great division, strife, debate and schisms across all strata and walks of life. No, racism  - or, more correctly, imaginary and false racism – is not one of them, though that is probably a close third. No, the primary issue causing all kinds of trouble in daily life and within the walls of the New Testament church just now is homosexuality. That should be no surprise to any of us who claim the cross of Christ and also keep up with the social media and news headlines of the last decade or so. But, as of June 24th, I was stunned – and by that I mean utterly gobsmacked to the point of speechlessness – to discover that abortion is a close runner up to homosexuality when making a list of topics that many “preachers” and “church leaders” refuse to even mention from the pulpit, much less make a definitive stand on, for fear of dividing their congregation or losing half their core members altogether.
I’ve been saved for just over 21 months now, and, even though I was raised in a traditional, independent Baptist church, I have discovered in the last year or so – mostly with pleasant surprise and delight – many things about God, the Bible, Christian doctrine, and other aspects of my daily walk with Christ about which I was very naïve. The topic, definition and study of true, Biblical dispensation, for example, is something that I was not at all aware of before I began attending Bible Baptist Church on February 28, 2021. Learning how to rightly divide the scriptures according to the command given by the Apostle Paul to Timothy in the second epistle that bears his name has been both challenging and very rewarding for me spiritually this year.
But, if there was one issue or subject that I thought for sure there could be no debate about among the members of the family of God, I would have bet all my life’s savings – which, admittedly, isn’t much right now – on abortion. Exodus 20:13 – “Thou shalt not kill.” It’s the sixth commandment. God is perfectly clear: you shall not murder. Period. “Murder” means “to end a human life”. Murder is what Cain did to Abel. Surely those of us who profess to love God, who claim to be His children and obey His commandments, and who can agree that the Bible is pretty clear about when life actually begins in the womb (Psalm 139:13-16), can also agree unanimously that abortion is murder, plain and simple. There’s no conditions, no situations, no circumstances – no matter how tragic or heartbreaking – where the slaughter of the innocent child who is only a few weeks – or several months – old is acceptable, right?
            Right?
(Listen to the crickets chirping in the awkward silence.)
I’m sorry, what? No “Amens”? No rousing “hallelujahs”? Not even a murmured, “Yes, sir” from someone  in a side aisle near the back?
Judging by some of the tweets from pastors and Christian authors that I follow online, that’s exactly the scenario that happened on Sunday morning, June 26th, in thousands of churches across this land. The ones that I follow were as baffled as I was by this response, with many of them quoting verses from Paul’s epistles that warn of apostasy and a “falling away” of believers in last days.
In other churches, however, (including mine here in Las Vegas) there was a very rousing chorus of “Amen!” & “Praise The Lord!” I spent the last week of June and July 4th weekend mesmerized – and more addicted than ever – to my Facebook and Twitter feeds. The ruling by SCOTUS caused tidal waves of reactions of all kinds from the American public, and I was thoroughly engrossed and amazed by the resulting online storm.
Consider the following twitter thread from @strangefigures2 (Sharon Autenrieth): “A text from my young adult daughter: ‘I think I’m done going to church. Rose V Wade was overturned and all my church friends started showing their true colors…I love going to church but I also love my queer friends and friends who have decided to get abortions. I can worship Jesus from home.’ So thanks for that, white American evangelicalism. You are doing spiritual harm to my child. Again. Another one. I started giving her a pep talk about how “not all Christians” and how different my church is – but that was tone deaf. You can probably guess how it went over. So I’m going to let her have her feelings about this, and I’ll have mine. And I’ll continue trying to be like Jesus while living and ministering in the belly of the beast.”
From what I read on her Twitter profile, Miss Autenrieth is a pastor, her preferred pronouns are “she/her”, she rescues cats, builds mutual aid (whatever that means), and loves writing about movies. And, judging by the tweet I quoted above, her church was less than enthused about the ruling by SCOTUS. I’m not able to tell from her profile exactly what denomination her church is, but I think it’s safe to assume it’s under the Anglican umbrella, probably Episcopalian, Presbyterian or Lutheran. (My main reason for that assumption is that almost all the Anglican denominations are very openly supportive and affirming of homosexuality within their walls.)
Miss Autenrieth’s tweet is just one example of many that I read in those days immediately following the June 24th victory.  I shook my head, stunned and genuinely confused, as I read statements by so-called “Christians” who believed that it was perfectly okay to kill an unborn child; something that God created; a fellow human that, like all of us already born, bears the image of God, our creator.
           How can this be?
On Friday, July 1st, one week after the SCOTUS ruling, one of my longtime Facebook friends posted her reaction to the decision, saying “If you are celebrating this, unfriend me now!”. This particular friend is not saved, and she and I have clashed online before, especially during the summer of 2020, at the height of the ridiculous mask mandates and debates about government brainwashing during the pandemic. I paused in my scrolling, re-read her post, and contemplated whether or not I should respond. All week I had seen similar posts from some of my other unsaved friends, but I had refrained from initiating fruitless debates. Now, I reconsidered. After a quick prayer, I typed a calm, reasoned, and very Christ-like response.
The next morning, as I waited for the coffee to finish brewing, I opened my Facebook app to find no less than a dozen responses and/or reactions to my response. Most of her friends either laughed at me or angrily blasted me with the usual rhetoric: “My body, my choice”; “YOUR god doesn’t care about human suffering…”; or, my personal favorite, “You’re a man! You can’t tell me what to do with MY body!!!!!” But, the one that immediately grabbed my attention, as well as serving as the seed for this whole sermon/post, stated (and I screenshot it so I could quote it word for word):

“What makes you think YOUR GOD gives a s*** about any life? The gruesome priestly purity test to which a wife accused of adultery must submit will cause her to abort the fetus if she is guilty, indicating that the fetus does not possess a right to life (Numbers 5:11-31).

God enumerated his punishments for disobedience, including ‘cursed shall be the fruit of your womb’ and ‘you will eat the fruit of your womb’, directly contradicting sanctity-of-life claims (Dueteronomy 28:18, 53).
Elisha’s prophecy for soon-to-be-king Hazael said he would attack the Israelites, burn their cities, crush the heads of their babies and rip open their pregnant women (2 Kings 8:12).
King Menaham of Israel destroyed Tiphsah (also called Tappuah) and the surrounding towns, killing all residents and ripping open pregnant women with the sword (2 Kings 15:16).
Isaiah prophesied doom for Babylon, including the murder of unborn children: ‘They will have no pity on the fruit of the womb.” (Isaiah 13:18)
For worshiping idols, God declared that not one of his people would live, not a man, woman or child (not even babies in arms), again confuting assertions about the sanctity of life (Jeremiah 44:7-8).
God will punish the Israelites by destroying their unborn children, who will die at birth, or perish in the womb, or never even be conceived (Hosea 9:10-16).”

           Uh, ok. Wow.
That was, to say the least, an interesting response and not at all the type of response I had been expecting. I looked up each of the verses that he quoted, and, yes, it does appear that God doesn’t care about His own creation. He does promise the Israelites that, if they do not obey His commandments, and if they turn to other gods, that He will punish them by allowing other nations to conquer them. Part of that conquering will include the deaths of mothers and the unborn as well as the newborn babes. Throughout the Old Testament, in fact, God repeatedly ordered His chosen people to attack and destroy many of the heathen nations around them: the Caananites, The Edomites, and the Amalekites, to name a few. When Samuel passed on God’s directive to Saul in 1 Samuel 15:3, he said, “Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.” (Emphasis mine).
The person who wrote that response on Facebook forgot to quote 2 Samuel 12:14. The prophet Nathan, in delivering God’s judgment against King David for his affair with Bathsheba and the arrangement of the murder of Bathsheba’s husband, Uriah, says in verse 14, “Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.” God was true to His word. The infant died shortly after birth.
In my old life, when I declared myself an Atheist, this exact contradiction was one of the reasons I stated with pride and scholarly assurance that religion was nonsense. How could a loving and powerful God say with one breath, through the mouth of David, “For Thou hast possessed my reins: Thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:” (Psalm 139:13 & 14), and, in the very next breath, “…slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.”? Either all life is sacred because we are created in the image of God, and thus, we shall not kill, or life is only sacred in certain situations, and in others it’s ok to kill the unborn because God said so.
I spent the last couple weeks mulling this over in the back of my mind as I went about my daily routine of Bible study, prayer, work and church attendance. I talked about this with my dad during one of our weekly phone chats, and my friend, Jon, during our weekly long distance Bible study. At some point, I am probably going to bring this up with my pastor. While I still don’t have a solid, resounding answer to this conundrum, I do have some thoughts. I’m going to employ an old fashioned mathematical equation: A+B+C=D.

A.) God is perfect. He is holy, He is just, and He never, ever contradicts Himself! Deuteronomy 32:4 says, “He is the Rock, His work is perfect: for all His ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He.” Just and right is He. That means that what God says He will do, He does. Moreover, what He commands us to do is also right and just. Psalm 19:7: “The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.” God’s law, as laid down in Exodus 20:1-17, and, later, in all of Leviticus, is perfect. When God says, “Thou shalt not kill”, we obey by not killing. That, in conjunction with Leviticus 18:21 that I quoted at the beginning of this sermon, as well as the entire chapter of Psalm 139 and, especially, verses 13 – 16, clearly tells me that God abhors the murder of the unborn that has been willfully committed in the numerous clinics throughout this nation in the last 50 years.

B.) If God is perfect, and His law is perfect, then His word – the Holy Bible – is also perfect. It does not and it cannot contradict itself! 2 Timothy 3:16 – 17: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” There’s that word again: “perfect”. 2 Peter 1:21: “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” God directly inspired His holy word throughout the history of mankind, and that word – in the form of the Holy Bible – is the pure, perfect, inerrant Word of God! It does not contradict itself! There are no mistakes within its pages! Period!
C.) If God is perfect and just, and if His word is perfect and just, then God cannot abide by any sin. If He is perfect, that means that no sin can be in His perfect, holy presence. That means that God abhors sin. What is sin? Put simply, sin is mankind rejecting God. Adam and Eve sinned when they rejected God’s command to not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Their sin separated them – and all their children – from God. God had created a perfect, beautiful world for Adam and Eve, and their sin ruined that perfection. The world as we know it today has been marred and destroyed by sin.
A+B+C=D. God commanded the Israelites to destroy the heathen nations around them because of the sin of those nations. What, exactly, did they do? It’s spelled out clearly in the Old Testament, starting in Genesis 6:5-6. “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart.” What, exactly, was this wickedness? Idolatry, bestiality, homosexuality, adultery, and child sacrifice, just to name a few. That is why God destroyed the whole world with a flood, save Noah and his family. The global flood – and yes, it was global – was the righteous and holy judgment of sin by an equally righteous and holy and just God.
When it says “repented” in verse 6, that doesn’t mean that God believed He had a made a mistake in creating man. He’s perfect, remember? That means He doesn’t make mistakes. What that word “repented” means is that the LORD was grieved and sorrowful because of mankind’s rejection of Him, of their divine Creator. You see, we were created for one reason and one reason only: for God’s pleasure. God walked and talked with Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. Before they sinned, they had perfect, holy communion with God. Their sin severed that communion, and, in the generations leading up to Noah and the flood, Adam and Eve’s descendants continued to reject God in favor of their own wickedness.
Noah’s descendants, however, also rejected God. The Caananites, the Edomites, the Amalekites, the Philistines, and all the other heathen nations were direct descendants of Noah’s three sons, as was the nation of Israel. Why did God choose one specific man, Abram, to become the father of a nation that would eventually be called “God’s chosen people?” I don’t know. That’s another topic for another time. What is relevant for this sermon is that because the Caananites, the Edomites, the Amalekites, and all the other heathen nations had rejected God, He pronounced judgement on them by way of Israel. God commanded his chosen people to wipe out all the wickedness from the promised land, and yes, that included the slaughter of the unborn as well as the suckling babes.
In a broken and fallen world, sin has consequences. There is collateral damage. God’s judgment on the heathen nations had collateral damage in the form of abortions and infanticide. Even after three weeks of Bible study and prayer and meditation on this topic, I still don’t have a solid answer to this apparent contradiction. But what I do know is that, because God is perfect and holy and just, He would not condemn to hell an unborn baby that had no opportunity to accept or reject Him. The souls of the unborn in the Old Testament as well as those sacrificed today in 21st century clinics – and all those who will continue to be slaughtered in the states that still allow this grievous freedom – were/are/will be immediately carried into the arms of our Heavenly Father upon the moment of death.
There is such a thing as the “age of accountability” for every single child on this planet. It is different for each one, and only God knows whether or not a child has accepted or rejected Him. This principle is not stated directly as such anywhere in scripture, but, through a careful study of the attributes of God, we believers know this to be true. God is just and righteous. He does not hold a sinner accountable for his/her sin if their mental capacity is below the threshold where they can truly understand and comprehend their sin nature and their need for a savior. This includes those born with mental disabilities, whose minds remain in an infant state for all of their lives, even into adulthood. Therefore, because A+B+C=D, we can believe with confidence that the unborn are carried directly to heaven upon their death.
We now have an answer for the equation. Given this singular truth, it makes sense, then, that God would punish sin by ordering his chosen people to wipe out whole nations, including the unborn and those still suckling at their mother’s breasts. The young ones that did not attain the age of accountability were delivered to heaven, while their parents – who willfully, knowingly, and deliberately rejected God – were cast into hell for all eternity. And, in our modern world, where mankind has traded stone altars, wood and fire for sterile clinics and stainless steel instruments, the same child sacrifice that the heathen nations around Israel practiced with worshipful glee to their false gods continues unchecked today. Even the idols are the same: pride, selfishness and rebellion against God. Every single beautiful, precious creation that bears the image of our Creator, has been borne back to heaven at the moment of their death upon our 20th and 21st century altars.
There are two particular arguments for abortion that I want to address because they exemplify the great misunderstanding by many people today of the relationship between sin and our fallen, broken world that I have been discussing in the last few paragraphs. Over and over these past three weeks I have seen in my Facebook feed comments and replies to other posts that go something like this: “What about the hundreds of thousands of children who are physically and/or sexually abused by cruel and unloving parents?” This argument is usually followed by a lengthy anecdote – usually one experienced directly by the author or by someone they know personally – which contains horrific details of the above mentioned abuses. The other argument is something along this line: “What about the cases where the pregnancy was a result of rape or incest? How heartless and cruel of you to expect a thirteen – or fifteen, or sixteen – year old girl to carry that pregnancy to term just because she lives in a red state!”
The answer to both of these arguments is actually quite simple. First of all, I can assure you, without even needing to check the pertinent websites, that the actual cases where the number of abortions performed every year because of rape or incest, is less than one percent. Those cases are still, even after 50 years, quite rare, and thus, it’s ridiculous to use such a weak piece of wood to build a platform for an argument of pro-choice. (Besides, this isn’t a research paper or a news article. This is a sermon. The only source material I need to support my arguments is the Bible. If you want scientific and statistical evidence to disprove my statements, go do the research yourself. But fair warning: you might not like what you find.) The simple answer to these two arguments is that there is not a single child conceived except that God allows it. Go read Psalm 139 again. God knows every single one of us – our entire lives from conception to death – long before we are even conceived. He has always existed and always will exist. He lives outside time and space. He inhabits all of past, present and future all at once. And there is nothing that happens on our tiny, blue planet that He does not directly allow and guide and direct.
A+B+C=D. That means, even in cases of rape and incest, God allowed that precious child to be conceived, and He has a plan for that child’s entire existence, from beginning to end. Psalm 139:16 states clearly, “Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect: and in Thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.” In other words, all of my days were ordered and numbered, from the moment of conception in my mother’s womb to the final breath I will take, whenever that might be, long before I was even conceived.
Not only that, but God loves and cares about every single one of His creation, and there is nothing that happens to us in our lives that He isn’t aware of. Scripture is replete with verses that speak of God’s love and His sympathy for us when we are experience great trials and pain in this life. That little boy or girl that is suffering at the hands of their parents or guardians is not unnoticed or unloved by their heavenly Father. From our perspective, it seems that God is heartless and cruel to not directly intervene with His angels to protect that innocent life. But God is not Superman. He doesn’t just swoop down and use his omniscient power to save us from every trial and heartache. Why? I don’t know. You’ll have to ask Him. I just know from my own prayer, and the reading of His word, and through the Holy Spirit that God doesn’t operate that way.
What He does do is use those horrific situations of violent abuse upon the innocent to show forth his mercy, and his love, and his goodness. I think of Dave Pelzer, the author of A Child Called “It”, whose early childhood was marked by extreme physical and emotional abuse from his mother. Dave survived and, while it doesn’t appear that he is a Christian – or has any spiritual faith to speak of – he did not allow his childhood trauma to destroy his adult life. He used his horrific experience, in fact, to help others by working actively in various charities as well as publishing and speaking about his story. Even as a non-Christian, Dave understood the power of forgiveness and the healing that it brings to a damaged life.
I think this principle applies to more than just childhood abuses and trauma. If you are willing to surrender all your pain, and bitterness, and anger to God, He can turn that into immutable peace, joy, and spiritual calm. Sometimes God allows tragedies – such as child abuse or something on a global scale such as the Jewish holocaust of World War 2 – to show us His power of healing, love and mercy. Yes, it would be better if those kinds of tragedies didn’t occur in the first place, but the current state of our broken and fallen world is not God’s fault. It’s ours. But there is a day coming when He will return to earth and will set right all that is wrong and broken and evil. Until then, we cannot know why He would allow children to be born into such horrific and tragic circumstances, but we do know that God has a plan for that child, and if he/she survives into adulthood and surrenders his/her life to God, He can work wonders in his/her life that no one can imagine or foresee.
God exists outside of time and space, on a plane that we will never know until we are reunited with him in heaven. Thus, he can see a much larger picture – past, present, and future all at once – than we can in this mortal, linear existence. Job came to understand this after spending many days debating with his three friends about the cause of – and reasons for –  human suffering. When God finally answered Job, the Almighty pointedly asked him, “Were you there when I formed the heavens and the earth? Have you existed since before time? Have you called every star in the heaven by name? No? Then sit down, be quiet, and trust in Me. I know what I’m doing, and you are on a need to know basis. Right now, you don’t need to know. My child, I love you, and I care for you, and all I ask of you is to put your faith and trust in Me. Your suffering is but only for a time, and then I will bring you home and you will suffer no more. We will be together for eternity. I shall wipe away all tears, and you will know only joy, peace, and true happiness forever, and ever, and ever.”
That was a paraphrase, obviously, but it is exactly what God told Job, and He has repeated those words in various forms throughout His holy word. As Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13:12, “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” God has purposely not shown his fallen creation everything about Him and His total plan for our lives. We must, instead, trust in Him and walk by faith, believing that He will never leave us, nor forsake us. (Hebrews 13:5) That means that the teenager who is now two months pregnant after being raped by her father, or the young woman whose boyfriend left her as soon as he learned of their six week old mistake, should put their faith in an omniscient and loving God, and choose life for their babies. The internet is replete right now with hundreds of thousands of stories and testimonies of women who chose life. I don’t have time or space to list them here, but you can go look them up yourself. A simple Google search will open a world where almost every single woman who rejected the choice of abortion never regretted having their baby.
I want to also stress the power of God’s mercy and forgiveness for those who did choose abortion, but now regret it. If you’re in that category, and you believe that there are sins too horrible and too heinous for God to forgive, just remember the apostle Paul. Before his conversion on the road to Damascus, Paul hunted down and murdered thousands of Christians. Yet God forgave him and used him in a wonderfully powerful way to bring the gospel to what was then the rest of the world beyond Jerusalem. For over a year now I have been following on social media a woman named Toni McFadden. Many years ago she made the choice to end the life of her baby, and, afterwards, came to know Christ and the awesome power of His forgiveness and mercy. She now travels the country, speaking out against abortion and sharing her testimony. Her story is an amazing and powerful rebuttal of all the lies and deceptions that the heathen love to claim about the “right” of pro-choice!
In closing, here’s where the title of my sermon comes from. My pastor loves to use the phrase “hard preaching”. This is preaching that is in line with God’s word, but is uncomfortable – or downright hated – by the ones who hear it. For Christians, hard preaching convicts us of our sin. Hard preaching is what many pastors, reverends, bishops, and various clergymen today do NOT do! Instead, they give soft words that usually promote sin rather than denounce it, especially when it comes to current social issues such as abortion and homosexuality. (More on that in part 2.) Joel Osteen and Joyce Meyers most definitely have never heard of hard preaching. Most of your Anglican ministers – and their sleeping congregations – wouldn’t know hard preaching if it stormed into their gilded chapels on chariots of fire surrounded by angels with flaming swords. My guess is that some form of hard preaching is what drove away Miss Autenrieth’s daughter. Here’s my response to her and her daughter:
If you call yourself Christian, yet you believe there’s some situations where it’s okay to chop up a baby within the womb, tear it out limb from limb, crush the skull in order to remove the head, and then throw all the body parts into a bag to be dumped into a bin with dozens of other similar bags, I question your salvation. How dare you call yourself a follower of Christ and a child of God, yet think it’s okay to slaughter the unborn, the image-bearer of our Holy and Divine Creator! You need to come forward on your knees, do some serious praying and soul searching at the altar, and beg for forgiveness from Almighty God. For true Christians, for those who have accepted Christ as their savior and believe in His shed blood as the ONLY way to true salvation, there is NO SUCH THING as pro-choice! Period! There is ONLY life! Period! There is no gray area, no 'what if', 'well what about this or that', yadda, yadda, yadda. No, Christian! There is ONLY LIFE that has been created by our loving and almighty God, and ONLY HE has the power and authority to say what happens to that precious, innocent life!
If that sounds harsh to you, and if you’re offended by my preaching, don’t take it up with me. I’m just the messenger. Get on your knees and talk to God. He’s the one that said it first in His holy word, and I’m not going to question His commandments. And, like Him, I beg you to come forward and repent. I love you. Yes, you reading this post, I love you! I don’t want to see you go to hell for refusing God and His mercy. Like you, I was once lost. I wandered in the dark, believing the lies of Satan. I was pro-choice, and I lived a life of pride and rebellion. But, as David said in Psalm 34:6, “This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.” I was that poor man! I was drowning in my sin, and I cried out to God on September 17, 2020, and He responded IMMEDIATELY! That very moment I said, “Lord, I surrender!” was when He filled me with His spirit, His joy and His peace. And now, I call to you and all that are out there like you, wandering lost and blind in the kingdom of the damned. Satan and his angels have blinded the eyes of the lost, and are whispering lies into their ears. Forsake the world now and come forward into the light. Jesus bled and died for ALL sinners, past, present and future! All you have to do is accept His free gift of salvation, believe on His name, forsake the world, take up your cross and follow Him! Trust me, it’s the best decision you’ll ever make!
Judgment is coming. Isaiah 66:15-16 says, “For behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with His chariots like a whirlwind, to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by His sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.” The word “plead” means to “contend with”. God will contend with those who have rejected Him. Isaiah is speaking of the last days here, after the second coming of Christ, and after the seven years tribulation. Jesus, with all the heavenly host of armies behind Him, will return to earth for the battle of Armageddon and will wipe out the forces of New Babylon and the antichrist and those who followed him. That includes all those who willfully participated in child sacrifice. They will stand before the throne of God and answer for every single baby that they murdered in their clinics. God will cast them into a lake of fire for all eternity as punishment for their sin and their rejection of Him.
I do not want to see those doctors and those mothers go to hell. I pray that they repent before it’s too late, just as I pray for the leaders of our nation. As I write this, the house Democrats just voted on a bill to codify Roe V. Wade and make it a federal law. It will most likely fail in the Republican-majority senate, but these days, one never knows for sure how politics will turn out. I’m praying fervently that that bill dies on the senate floor. And I will not stop speaking and writing and preaching the gospel truth wherever and whenever I can. Right now, social media and the internet are the platforms God has given me, and I will use them to the best of my ability to shine His truth and His light to a lost and dying world.
            God bless, and amen!

Romans12:1-2  "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
